Building contractor

Gerda und Simon Brunner-Lendi

2019

House built in 1990 (partial planning by architect Niklaus Hartmann III), the stall is significantly older. A contribution to preservation of the historic city center. Renovation and restoration in collaboration with the canton’s preservation of historic monuments, with protection of the house and stall as an ensemble. The stall was deliberately left as is and now serves as a storage building. Renovation of the house comprised an “interior concentration” and included the introduction of a steel stairway between the stall and house as well as an extension of the floor screed to create separate [MOU1] units, which are rented year-round to local residents.
