The uniqueness of the innovation centre LIUG (Liug, in Romansh: place) manifests through particularly open and tall research and production spaces distributed across three floors. Its main feature is the disposition in a semi-circular theatre with galleries, a central hall, a spacious stage and forestage. While allowing for views into the various activities on the floors, this layout also provides space for events (exhibitions, fairs etc.) in the central hall. The colour variety of the steel structure and ceilings strengthens the idea of a space of happenings.
